Gokyo Lake Trekking (16) Days

Gokyo Lake Trekking offers excellent and rewarding views of Mount Everest in the adjacent range. From Gokyo village, you can see clearly Mount Everest from a slightly greater distance. The views in the Gokyo region are tremendous. Gokyo Lake trekking takes you through romantic villages of stone houses and walled pastures on the shores of Gokyo Lake. It offers you the chance to observe the local peoples way of life and also you may encounter yaks. While trekking to Gokyo Lake you will be astounded by the ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung located in Khumbu region. Gokyo Lake trekking provides panoramic views of Cho Oyu, Gyanchung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholaste and Tawachee.

Trekking Itinerary :
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
Day 03: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Trek to Phadking (2700m)
Day 04: Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3420m)
Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche (3420)
Day 06: Namche to Phortse Thanga (3500m)
Day 07: Phortse Thanga to Dole (4200m)
Day 08: Dole to Machhermo (4410m)
Day 09: Machhermo to Gokyo (4750m)
Day 10: Acclimatization day in Gokyo
Day 11: Gokyo to Phortse
Day 12: Phortse to Namche Bazaar
Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 15: Leisure day in Kathmandu
Day 16: Transfer to Airport for your onward destination.
